The Duke Eye Center Alumni Association is a division of the Duke Medical Alumni Association . The objective of the Eye Center Alumni Association is to provide education opportunities for the alumni, to promote a spirit of cordiality, mutual acquaintance and good fellowship among the members of the association, to promote the interests of the Duke Eye Center and to encourage and promote gifts, bequests, and donations for the support and endowment of Duke Eye Center.

Number Of Members: As of January 2009, there were 417 members from around the world.

Officers And Executive Council: Approximately nine alumni serve as the leaders of the association with rotating terms of office.

Number Of Meetings: Alumni are recognized at all Duke Eye Center continuing education meetings, the annual Alumni Reception at the Academy of Ophthalmology meeting, and Medical Alumni Weekend (MAW).
