Landon Charles Meekins, MD

Medical Instructor in the Department of Ophthalmology

Dr. Meekins is a neuro-ophthalmologist who is fellowship-trained in the subset of eye disorders associated with brain and nervous system pathology.  He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment a variety of optic nerve, cranial nerve, orbital and brain disorders.  He also provides general eye care, managing common eye conditions such as glaucoma, diabetes, macular degeneration, cataracts, and dry eye.  In addition to performing procedures more specific to the subspecialty of neuro-ophthalmology including optic nerve sheath fenestration surgery and botulinum toxin injection for blepharospasm. Dr. Meekins performs cataract surgery and other general ocular procedures.
