The 36th Annual Duke Glaucoma Symposium was held on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Duke Eye Center. This year, the course featured presentations on the latest advances in the medical and surgical management of glaucoma, presented by Duke Eye Center faculty and distinguished guest faculty from across the state of North Carolina. Jullia Rosdahl, MD, PhD served as the Course Director and was supported by Glaucoma Division Chief, Leon Herndon, MD.
Following the symposium, Duke Eye Center hosted the 7th Annual Glaucoma Fellows Course, welcoming glaucoma fellows from across the country for a two day course featuring a comprehensive overview of current practices and controversies in the diagnosis and management of glaucoma and the latest surgical techniques. Fellows were also able to participate in a 12 station wet lab, providing a hands-on experience, showcasing the latest in glaucoma management techniques and devices.
