Duke Eye Center offers glaucoma services led by prominent physicians who are internationally recognized for their contributions to advancing patient care. Fourteen board-certified physicians in the division provide compassionate care to over 50,000 pediatric and adult patients annually.

Duke Eye Center provides cutting-edge preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic services to patients who are at high risk for glaucoma, already diagnosed with glaucoma, and people who have not previously had success with glaucoma treatments.

Our doctors employ various treatment options, including medications, laser therapy, and incisional glaucoma surgery to arrive at a therapeutic goal for patients to minimize the damage caused by glaucoma. Our surgeons use the latest advances in glaucoma surgery, including minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), as well as traditional filtration and glaucoma tube procedures. We have the expertise and experience to combine complicated surgeries, oftentimes with corneal and retinal surgeons, to offer the most comprehensive surgical care.
