We recently concluded another successful Annual Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) meeting. To enhance our presence at the meeting, we had a display in the exhibit hall where we showcased our faculty, research and patient care. Here's a summary of our activity and key highlights of the meeting.

Duke Med student, S. Tammy Hsu, BA won best original paper presentation for Assessment of Pediatric Foveal Vasculature Using Optical Coherence Tomography Angiography during the Best of AAPOS session.
C. Ellis Wisley, MD, MBA PGY2 won best poster for Long-term Progression of Lamellar Hole-associated Epiretinal Proliferation Area and its Impact on Visual Acuity.
Laura Enyedi, MD led a Pediatric Instruction Course, Killer Pediatric Eye Disease: How to Avoid a Fatal Flaw, and 4 of the 5 panelists were Duke Eye Center alums!
