Duke Retina Experts Lead Key Presentations at 2019 ASRS

Duke retina experts were selected to present key research, lead instructional courses and participate on panels at the 2019 American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS) annual meeting held July 26-30, 2019 in Chicago, IL. 

The meeting began on Friday, with instructional courses, one of which was led by Dilraj Grewal, MD

The opening session, AMD Non-neovascuar Symposium featured Eleonora Lad, MD, PhD delivering the first presentation of the day followed by Scott Cousins, MD and Michael Allingham, MD, PhD later in the session. 

Lejla Vajzovic, MD led the Pediatric Vitreoretinal Surgical Techniques Instructional Course and was invited to sit on the panel for the inaugural Live Surgery Symposium.  

We are extremely proud of second year VR Fellow Ananth Sastry, MD and Dilraj Grewal, MD being awarded the 2019 ASRS Film Festival Award.
