Sri Meghana Konda, MD PGY 3 and James Tian, MD PGY4 were 2 of 10 ophthalmology residents honored with the 2023 Resident Excellence Award, presented by the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) Foundation.
Each year, the ASCRS Foundation presents this award to select ophthalmology residents that exhibit exemplary performance in research, patient care, leadership, and education. As recipients of this year's award, Konda and Tian will receive a grant to attend the ASCRS Annual Meeting in San Diego along with invitations to select leadership and social events.
