Ryan Sameen Meshkin, MD, a current vitreoretinal surgery fellow, has been selected to participate in the 20th Annual Heed Ophthalmic Foundation Retreat, which will take place next month in Chicago.
Dr. Meshkin is one of only 39 trainees nationwide chosen through a competitive selection process recognizing individuals with exceptional potential for careers in academic ophthalmology. The prestigious Heed Fellowship supports emerging leaders in the field who demonstrate a strong commitment to research, education, and academic medicine.
The annual retreat brings together Heed Fellows and nationally recognized faculty leaders for mentorship, networking, and discussions focused on building successful careers in academic ophthalmology.
