Sally Ong, MD has received a 2017 American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) Foundation Resident Excellence Award.
Each year, the ASCRS Foundation makes ten $1,000 awards to enable ophthalmology residents exhibiting exemplary performance to attend its Annual Symposium. The categories for consideration include research, patient care, leadership and education.
The Resident Excellence Award includes:
- A $1,000 grant to fund travel to the ASCRS Annual Symposium
- Complimentary ASCRS Annual Symposium registration
- Four nights complimentary accommodation at an area hotel
- Invitations to select ASCRS leadership and social events
