Sejal Patel Receives Duke/UNC ADRC REC Scholar Award for Alzheimer's Research

Sejal Patel, an undergraduate at Duke University and member of iMIND, received the Duke/UNC Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (ADRC) Associate Research Education Component (REC) Scholar Award. Sharon Fekrat MD FACS FASRS serves as her mentor.

This award, funded by the REC Core, supports research activities and travel to a national meeting for early-career researchers at Duke, UNC-CH, ECU, NCCU, and UNC-P, focusing on age-related changes across the lifespan that impact Alzheimer's and related dementias.
