We are thrilled to announce that Summer Stevens has been elected Secretary of the DHIP Clinic Advisory Council (CAC). Summer is a certified ophthalmic medical technician who has dedicated 15 years to Duke Eye Center, showcasing her expertise and commitment to excellence.
Summer's contributions extend beyond her role as a technician. She is a mentor for the certified ophthalmic technician training program, an advisory board member, and a Joint Commission liaison. Her exceptional mentoring skills have earned her multiple recognitions as Mentor of the Year.
"My goal for this committee is to foster an environment of unity," Summer says. "We have your best interest at heart. I will strive to know what makes your best days, your most challenging days, and how we can work together to make Duke Health the best experience for all."
