Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology

I am an optometrist who specializes in vision rehabilitation. My practice is focused on empowering patients with various strategies and technologies to maximize visual performance and improve their quality of life. I strive to educate my patients so they can make informed decisions regarding their eye health. I am inspired by the joy I feel when I can make a difference in my patients' lives. I'm originally from Burlington, NC. When I'm not seeing patients at Duke, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, making pottery, hiking, traveling, and hanging out with my golden retriever.
