Duke Eye Center Faculty and Trainees Participate in the 58th Annual Retina Society Meeting

Faculty and trainees from Duke Eye Center participated in the 58th Annual Retina Society Meeting, held September 10–13, 2025, in Chicago, Illinois. With 14 presentations, Duke’s presence highlighted its ongoing leadership in advancing retinal research, education, and clinical care.

We are proud to recognize Yuxi Zheng, MD, vitreoretinal surgery fellow, who was honored with the Raymond R. Margherio Fellowship Award for her project: “Evaluating Clinical Signs of Regression in Eyes Treated with Intravitreal Bevacizumab for Type 1 Retinopathy of Prematurity.” Dr. Zheng conducted this research under the mentorship of Cynthia Toth, MD.
