In an effort to support expanded clinics and regional population growth, Duke Ophthalmology welcomes nine new faculty members. Please welcome the newest additions to the Duke Eye Center Team.

 

Yousef Aldairy, MD
Medical Retina 
Yousef Aldairy, MD is a Harvard and Duke retina fellowship-trained clinician with expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the retina such as AMD, diabetic retinopathy, and retinal vascular diseases. Read more.

 

Brad Barnett, MD, PhD
Cornea
Dr. Barnett is a cornea surgeon who treats patients with cataracts, corneal diseases and ocular surface diseases such as dry eye disease.

 

Chantal Boisvert, MD
Neuro-ophthalmology
Dr. Chantal Boisvert, Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Duke University Eye Center, received her medical degree from Laval University School of Medicine and completed her residency in ophthalmology at the University of Montreal Hospitals. Read more.
 
 
Durga Borkar, MD
Vitreoretinal Surgery 
Dr. Durga Borkar is a board-certified, fellowship-trained adult vitreoretinal surgeon. Her practice includes injection and laser-based treatment of retinal disease in the clinic, as well as complex surgical cases in the operating room. Read more.
 
 
Jeanette Elfering, PA
Neuro-ophthalmology
Jeanette Elfering is a Physician Assistant in the department of Neuro-ophthalmology. Her goal is to provide personalized patient care to not only help treat and restore her patient's vision but to also to allow her patients to continue to experience their world through clear and healthy eyes. Dr. Rosh specializes in plastic surgery and reconstruction of the eyes and their surrounding structures, including the eyelids, eyelashes, orbit, eye socket, and lacrimal system. Read more.
 
 
Keneth Weinlander, MD
Cornea
Dr. Weinlander specializes in medical and surgical diseases of the cornea and anterior segment of the eye. He also performs the latest surgical procedures for patient care, including DMEK, DSAEK, and DSO/DWEK for corneal transplantation. Read more.
