After a bachelor’s degree in visual journalism and 15 years working as a freelance photographer shooting portraits, events, sports, and food and beverages, Kathleen Warren never imagined herself in a medical field. But in 2013, a friend from college encouraged her to join him at the New England Eye Care Center as an ophthalmic photographer. When she investigated it, she liked the possibilities.

Duke Global Ophthalmology in Indonesia
Lloyd Williams, MD, PhD traveled to Yogyakarta, Indonesia on the latest Duke Global Ophthalmology mission to collaborate with Dr Sardjito Hospital. While there, he performed 16 ICL surgeries and 23 corneal transplants.
Grewal is Lead PI in CLARITY Phase 3 Study
Dilraj Grewal, MD, FASRS is the lead PI and Duke is a lead site in the CLARITY phase 3 study, evaluating brepocitinib in non-anterior non-infectious uveitis (NIU). Brepocitinib has been granted Fast Track Designation for NIU by the FDA.
Vajzovic Honored with Real World Ophthalmology's Extraordinary Mentorship Award
