Duke Eye Center faculty were among the featured international speakers at the Duke-SNEC Advanced Vitreous Surgery (AVS) Course, held as a pre-congress course during the Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC) 35th Anniversary International Meeting in Singapore.
The course brought together retina specialists and fellows from around the world for lectures, interactive panel discussions, surgical education, and hands-on wet lab training focused on advanced vitreoretinal surgery techniques and the management of complex retinal diseases. Participants also received updates on important medical retina conditions and engaged in discussions on professional development and surgical decision-making.
Duke faculty members participating in the program included Glenn Jaffe, MD, Sharon Fekrat, MD, FACS, FASRS, Dilraj Grewal, MD, FASRS, Majda Hadziahmetovic, MD, and Lejla Vajzovic, MD, FASRS who joined distinguished international experts from SNEC in leading educational sessions throughout the course.
