Duke Eye Center is pleased to share that Lejla Vajzovic, MD, FASRS has been elected President‑Elect of the Women in Ophthalmology (WIO) Board of Directors. WIO is a powerful collective dedicated to advancing women in the field through education, leadership development, and advocacy.
In addition to Dr. Vajzovic’s new leadership role, Laura Enyedi, MD, continues to serve on the WIO Board as Councilor to the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), further strengthening Duke’s presence within this influential national organization.
