We are pleased to announce two vitreoretinal surgery fellows have been appointed 2022-2023 Heed Fellows.
Grant Justin, MD just completed his first year of VR surgery fellowship.
Rolake Alabi, MD, PhD will begin the 2-year Duke VR surgery fellowship in July.
The Heed Ophthalmic Foundation has appointed more than 1,100 Heed Fellows and provided over $11 million dollars in support of their postgraduate training. Over the past 70 years, the type and length of fellowship training has varied. The Foundation currently designates the Heed Fellowship as an unrestricted Merit Award with a value of $10,000.00.
