60 Minutes Features Blind Architect that Helped Design Duke Eye Center Building

Chris Downey, an architect that went blind at age 45 was featured on 60 Minutes Sunday, January 13, 2019.  He consulted on the design of the Hudson Building at Duke Eye Center, a state-of-the-art eye care facility that opened in June 2015.  His contributions to the building design helped to ensure visually impaired and blind people could easily navigate the building.   He has used his disability to help and inspire others.
