Duke Eye Center is excited to welcome Christopher Dermarkarian ,MD to the Oculofacial and Orbital Surgery Division!
Dermarkarian completed his Oculoplastic and Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at the University of California-Irvine. He completed residency training in ophthalmology at Baylor College of Medicine and medical school at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
His clinical interests include medical and surgical management of many eyelid disorders such as “droopy eyelids,” eyelids that are turned in or out, and uncontrollable eyelid movements. He will also manage eyelid and eyebrow reconstruction following tumor removal surgery or injuries, cosmetic brow lifts, upper and lower eyelid lift surgery, medical and surgical management of thyroid eye disease, and blocked tear duct treatment.
Dermarkarian will see patients at the Brier Creek location.
