The 55th Annual Retina Scientific meeting was November 2nd-5th, 2022 in Pasadena, CA. Several Duke Eye Center faculty members and trainees were present. Duke's involvement is in the attached document including cases, posters, and scientific programs.
One of our former residents, Suzanne Michalak, MD is the 2022 Recipient of the Raymond R. Margherio Award. Michalak is sponsored by Cynthia Toth, MD. This award/fund was established to support research on macular disease.
Also, Tammy Hsu, MD received the Jack McGovern Coats' Disease Foundation Education Grant for her project on Preliminary Evaluation of Pediatric Widefield Fundus Photos using Artificial Intelligence.
