Duke Awards and Presentations at ASRS 2024

Duke Eye Center was well represented with podium and poster presentations from faculty and trainees and three faculty honored with awards at the American Society of Retinal Specialists (ASRS) annual meeting July 17-20, 2024 in Stockholm, Sweden. 

A broad range of lectures included clinical trial results, innovative treatments and imaging and our faculty serving on expert panels.

Former Duke resident and current VR surgery fellow, Yuxi Zheng, MD was named ASRS Fellows-in-Training Co-chiar

Three faculty were recognized with awards this year. 

ASRS Presidential Awards
  • Glenn Jaffe, MD, professor of ophthalmology and vitreoretinal division chief 
  • Dilraj Grewal, MD, FASRS, associate professor of ophthalmology were both honored with the ASRS Presidential Award which recognizes members for their time and contributions to the scientific programs or the annual meeting.
