Nambi Nallasamy, MD, a Duke Eye Center resident received the American Society of Cataracts and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) Resident Excellence Award for the 2016 annual meeting. Sponsored by the ASCRS Foundation, winners will receive a travel grant to the ASCRS Symposium & Congress, along with complimentary meeting registration, four nights hotel and invitations to select ASCRS leadership and social events. The awardees are selected based on exemplary performance in the areas of research, patient care, leadership and education.
