Lloyd Williams, MD, PhD traveled to Yogyakarta, Indonesia on the latest Duke Global Ophthalmology mission to collaborate with Dr Sardjito Hospital. While there, he performed 16 ICL surgeries and 23 corneal transplants.
During his time in Indonesia, Williams was also able to attend and present at the 9th Asia Cornea Society (ACS) Biennial Scientific Meeting. The meeting featured high level scientific presentations from distinguished leading clinicians and researchers from around the globe, and provided an environment of inspiration, collaboration, and collegiality.
