Five members of the Duke Retina Division, including division chief Glenn Jaffe, MD participated in the 2024 Retina World Congress in Fort Lauderdale, Florida May 9-12, 2024. Along with Jaffe, Durga Borkar, MD, MMCi, Sharon Fekrat, MD, FARS, FASRS, Dilraj Grewal, MD, FASRS, and Lejla Vajzovic, MD, FASRS all led sessions, presented, and served as moderators and panelists throughout the meeting.
Retina World Congress is one of the largest retina meetings in the world, featuring 165 internationally-recognized experts and hosting 1,000 physicians, healthcare providers and industry participants from over 50 countries. The goal of this meeting is to achieve a global scientific and clinical exchange in retinal health and to improve patient outcomes.
