Duke Well Represented at AAO 2022

Duke Eye Center faculty, residents, and fellows will have 100 presentations, posters, and symposiums that will be presented throughout the 2022 American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) meeting. Including 10 subspecialty day presentations with several faculty members receiving honors or awards.

Edward Buckley, MD is the Guest of Honor and will be recognized by Academy President, Robert E. Wiggins, MD, MHA.

Kelly Muir, MD is the Glaucoma Subspecialty Day Program Co-Director for an immersive review of test result interpretation, surgical and medical treatment, and decision making.

Durga Borkar, MD, MMCi will receive the Achievement Award for her contributions made to the Academy.

Frank Brodie, MD will receive the Artemis Award for his work that has demonstrated innovation in delivering quality eye care to undeserved populations.
