The Duke Raleigh Hospital Eye Surgery Center opened on Monday, February 24, 2020. Eye surgery patients are being seen at the in Medical Office Building 9 (MOB 9), rather than the main hospital. The clinic is located in the newly renovated second floor of the building, featuring 15 pre- and-post-operative patient care rooms and three procedure rooms. Ophthalmologists at this outpatient clinic perform surgery to treat glaucoma, cataracts, and corneal disease.
Relocating these procedures into this new clinic gives patients access to upgraded equipment and more space as the Duke Raleigh campus continues to grow to provide the innovative care delivery and unparalleled patient experience the community deserves.
Thank you to the Duke Raleigh Team for making this possible!
