Grewal Joins The Macula Society and Retina Society

Congratulations to Dilraj Grewal, MD on being accepted into both The Macula Society and the Retina Society!

The Macula Society is a forum for new research in retinal vascular and macular diseases. The society’s membership continues to grow, both in the US and internationally. Applications are accepted only once a year, and members are selected via rigorous acceptance criteria, including extensive contribution to retinal literature. Members demonstrate their exceptional achievements through cutting-edge research and leadership in major clinical trials.

The Retina Society was founded in 1968 exclusively for educational and scientific purposes concerning the diagnosis, care and treatment of diseases and injuries to the retina. The Retina Society began as an outgrowth of alumni meetings of Retina Associates, a retina practice founded in Boston in 1951 by Charles L. Schepens. Dr. Schepens is credited with establishing retina surgery as a sub-specialty.

We are proud of Grewal's accomplishments an look forward to his future scholarly contributions!
