Join us in welcoming Jeffrey D. Kozlowski, OD to the Duke Ophthalmology Comprehensive Division.
Kozlowski has nearly 25 years of experience in co-managing patients with ocular disease, the treatment of patients on an emergent basis (red eyes, foreign body removal, etc.), and in co-managing a variety of complex post-surgical care. He strives to create a familial- type relationship with all his patients. In treating a patient like a family member, he truly feels that the doctor/patient bond that is established will help the success of each and every encounter. By listening to your problems intently, examining your eyes thoroughly and educating you and family members on all of your concerns, he will work with you to come to the best treatment solutions for your eye health. In working side-by-side with a dedicated team of eye care professionals, this team approach will give you the time, concern, and confidence that you seek in all your health and eye care needs.
The gift of sight inspires and fascinates Dr. Kozlowski, and, with that in mind, he aims to provide you with the best vision possible at every visit. He is interested in educating our blooming ophthalmologists and optometrists in training, and hopes to leave them with the same passion that he has when “seeing” patients and providing them with exemplary care.
He is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and did his schooling in Boston, but upon graduation moved immediately to the South where he has been practicing for nearly 25 years. Outside of Duke, he and his wife enjoy golfing, tennis, travel and their two girls in college.
Dr. Kozlowski looks forward to meeting you and helping you in seeing your best!
