Interarterial chemotherapy, a new treatment for retinoblastoma, delivers the drug right to the source of the tumor and have fewer side effect than traditional treatment. A multi-disciplinary team at Duke used this new treatment in a pediatric patient recently, one of only 2 so far in North Carolina.
