Robbins Elected to Duke AOA Medical Honor Society

Congratulations to third year medical student Cason Robbins, BS on being elected to the Duke University School of Medicine chapter of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Robbins has been working with Sharon Fekrat, MD, FACS in evaluating multimodal retinal and optic nerve imaging for the diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson’s disease, and he is establishing clinical databases to characterize Duke patient outcomes in clinical conditions including endophthalmitis.

AOA elects a small number of students, residents and fellows each year who exemplify the qualities of scholastic performance, leadership, fairness in dealing with colleagues, compassion for others, integrity of character, and service to the school and community at large. Great work!
