About the Award
This award is in honor of Dr. Roger Vogel, who was in the ophthalmic pharmaceutical business for almost 30 years and led the development of many of the medicines now used by ophthalmologist. The award will be given annually to an ARVO member whose research furthers the development of pharmaceutical treatments for ophthalmic diseases. The recipient will receive a cash award of $10,000.
