Duke Eye Center welcomed Brigadier General Robert Enzenauer, MD, MPH, as the Chairman's Guest Lecturer on November 3, 2016. He presented "Combat Ophthalmology - Afghanistan, 2002-2003."
Dr. Enzenauer is the Chief of Pediatric Ophthalmology at Children's Hospital Colorado and serves as Medical Director of Miracles In Sight, one of the largest eye banks in the world. He specializes in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus and is board certified in ophthalmology, pediatrics and aviation medicine. His research interests are centered around measuring quality in pediatric ophthalmology and resident education. With is background in pediatrics he is especially interested n caring for special-needs patients and assessing and treating eye conditions of pediatric systemic disease.
