Optometrist Charlene James, MD joined Duke Eye Center in October 2016. She joins us from MyEyeDr at Brier Creek Commons in Raleigh, NC and prior to that she practiced at Boling Vision Center in Elkhart, IN. Dr. James will work in the comprehensive clinic at the main Duke Eye Center location in Durham. She will provide comprehensive eye care which includes screening for conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration. In addition, Dr. James will provide post-operative care for those undergoing cataract surgery and contact lens evaluations.
