Cason Robbins is an Ophthalmology resident at the Duke Eye Center. Prior to residency, he obtained his B.S. in Chemistry/Biology (Medical Sciences) from Mississippi College his M.D. from Duke University School of Medicine. He has worked with the iMIND group since 2019, and his research has involved the use of OCTA in Parkinson’s disease, choroidal structural analysis for Alzheimer’s disease, the correlation of OCTA biomarkers with corresponding MRI biomarkers in Alzheimer’s and mild cognitive impairment, and the use of a convolutional neural network to differentiate between individuals at elevated genetic risk for Alzheimer’s.
