I serve as Senior Business Manager (aka Division Administrator) supporting all facets of Retina, Pediatric-Oph, Neuro-Oph, Ocular Oncology, Retinal Genetics and Vision Rehab. I manage the Remote Screening Programs at BC Endocrinology and Neurology/Neuro-ophthalmology at 1L and Morreene Road. I created and manage the Mobile Remote DR Screening program visiting Duke PCP locations. I enjoyed helping to create the multi-D eye stroke clinic in neuro-ophthalmology. I relish collaborating with other departments and outside organizations implementing programs and opportunities to treat patients.
I gather and report Joint Commission mandated QI/QA data for the entire department and quarterly compile data for MD/OD/APP reappointments for the Credentialing Verification Office.
I have a BS in Health Services Management and a MHA. I joined Duke Eye Center in May 2017 and was hired by the PDC in 1999. Prior to my current role, I served in Clinical Operations roles such as HCA at a large multi-D clinic and Director of Operations for CPDC. I also served as the PDC Associate Vice President of Compliance, Privacy, Security and Integrity.
