Congratulations to Duke Glaucoma specialist Jiaxi Ding, MD whose surgical video was selected as a Top 5 Finalist for the American Glaucoma Society (AGS) 2021 Surgical Video Competition! The video titled “Omni - A Tale of Two MIGS” describes the Omni Surgical System, a newer form of Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery (MIGS), as well as Dr. Ding’s tips for use. It was introduced at this year’s Duke Glaucoma Fellows Course, hosted by Leon Herndon, MD and Jullia Rosdahl, MD, PhD.
The top 5 videos will be shown to all AGS members for a vote in December. Videos will also be available on the Virtual Annual Meeting platform for attendees to view on-demand.
