AUPO works to encourage the promotion of medical education, research, and patient care in ophthalmology.

Corneal specialist Kourtney Houser, MD was recently interviewed by YoungMD Connect as an part of their Outstanding Female Leader in Ophthalmology series. During the interview, Houser answers questions about her background, the evolving role of women in ophthalmology, and advice for young ophthalmologists.
