Duke Ophthalmic Photographer Ryan Imperio, CRA, OCT-C has been honored with the 2024 Astronomy Photographer of the Year Award. This prestigious award is presented by the Royal Museums Greenwich in London, United Kingdom and is the world's largest and most prestigious contest of its kind, with more than 3,500 submissions from 58 countries. 

Associate Professor of Ophthalmology and Vitreoretinal Disease Specialist, Madja Hadziahmetovic, MD published an article in the September Issue of Retina entitled, "Managing DR in Pregnancy: A (Not-So) Hot Topic."

We are thrilled to announce that Kevin Jackson, MD has joined the Duke Eye Center Cornea Division. Dr. Jackson completed his ophthalmology residency training and a cornea fellowship at Duke and it is a honor to welcome him back as a faculty member.

This virtual event offers an opportunity to hear from Fekrat and other experts in the profession as they discuss real-world evidence on the efficacy and durability of novel therapies for nAMD, DME, and RVO.
